I just want to say that when I was fighting the final boss, I had needle in my inventory, I got a combo of only 3 then needle went into affect. IT DESTROYED THE REST OF THE ORBS.
When playing a level where the ‘Wall’ orbs overtake the coloured orbs, this happens on ‘boomerang’ shots as well as regular shots, meaning that you can win as soon as you have access to a wall where you can rebound off.
Awesome demo! The only thing that didn't feel great was the jester boss--getting that boss seems to screw the player over unless they have specific items.
Ooh yeah I think I know why, my bad that's an oversight. I'll fix it once I get back home (though that might wait for the full game release planned in a couple of days)
Will definitely buy on release, even though it felt a bit easy. I got 'the needle' relic (clears isolated bubbles) and was able to use that to clear some maps very quickly to end up with my inventory full of good relics and like 50+ coins.
Hope either the runs are longer in full version or there is some Ascension type difficulty scaling.

Really cool game with clearly a lot of effort put in. Needs a lot of balancing though. For example, even some simple math on something like any of the elemental runes tells you they are not worth it. They cost 15 coins and only give 1 coin every time you break 5 bubbles of that element. That means to have a positive ROI on that purchase you need to destroy more than 15 sets of 5 of that element. That takes essentially the entire game for that purchase to be finally generating you positive income, and even then, you likely only have a floor or two left, which means you get what, 3 extra coins to spend by the end of the game that required you to be at a 15 coin deficit the entire run? Not worth it.
There's similar issues with almost all the balancing in the game. You generally just don't generate enough coins period.
It surprised me how fun it was, since I at first though it was going to be one of those generic bubble popper games. The little additions like the moving shooting point and the shop made it so much more fun, very well done.

I'm hoping that maybe you could add challenge modes with restrictions, such as only having 1HP, or having bosses show up more often. Or something that would enable us to customize the run at the beginning, giving us self-imposed challenges or advantages. Also, I enjoyed the grind for all the achievements, and I hope that there might be more in the full version (possibly character-specific achievements?)

Maybe make more puzzles where you have to play around with disjointed orb clusters or use colorless orbs in clever ways in order to avoid losing health, maybe add more types of pre-placed orbs that cause bullshit, maybe add portals that teleport your orb and that you have to use to get to unreachable clusters, maybe reduce Destruction Magic's health because he doesn't need it with all them bombs, maybe make Needle more expensive and/or give it only a 50% chance to proc on any given orb per turn (i just beat the final boss in 1 round with it), maybe prevent coupons from spawning if the player already has one, maybe add enemies in the levels that do stuff based on orb elements, idk i'm just spitballing ideas.

Not sure if it is a bug or not, but the shop restocks when you toggle between buy and sell. So once you get rolling with bombs:
you start clearing levels faster -> you earn more money -> You can buy more bombs!
The winning strat for the first wizard is to sell off the telescope and buy bombs, which feels a tad unfair haha.
Oh that makes sense. Yeah it's a bug, should be fixed now ahah. And yeah, the scope is an easy bonus for new players, also serves as training wheels for the first playthrough

Very fun and promessing game, though after I finished the game for the first time with the orb wizard, the game crashed and showed me this message:

The game softlocks for some reason when only poison orbs are left, the shooter won't give me any more spells and it just stops moving.

The shooter constantly moving around is too annoying. Can't line up any good shots cause it keeps bouncing around.

"Minimalist" achievement either checks only for "less than 3 items" or counts bought potions as items
Didn't work with Destrucion Mage on Easy, while bying only health and bonus spell potions
But did work with Orb Mage on easy after bying only 1 item and 1 potion
Edit: most likely the second one since, I just got "Duplicates" after bying 5th bonus spell potion

untouchable should really be a "don't take any damage during a run" achievement instead of "don't take more than 20 damage"

Game's kind of easy even on the hardest difficulty, but it's cool nonetheless.

The first two mages are the easiest ones, onc the full game release the new mages will add a lt of challenge ;) But I like some of these ideas!

Needle trivializes most if not all of the bosses
hard mode still incorrectly says 20 floors on demo version (I know you just fixed this same problem for medium difficulty)
btw, every time you win with bomb guy in the demo, it claims to unlock the next guy, but of course does not due to him being locked in the demo.
