Hello handsome,
As promised, here is the post-jam update of TOWNFOLKS.
I first want to thank all of you for playing my game ! The feedback has been extremely positive and constructive. People seems to enjoy it and I was shocked by how many people actually sat through the full hour / hour and a half campaign and commented on how they wanted more.
There were a lot of very good ideas in the comments, some I implemented this week and others I plan on getting into the game at some point.
I think this game deserves more than the 48 hours it was conceived in, so stay tuned !
1.4 Changelog:
- New monsters (Bears, Bees, Bandits and a bazillon more)
- Bounty mechanic : if all your party dies, you loose all the gold you found that night
- Achievements ! Try and get them all 9, should spice up the difficulty for those in need of challenges
- Added a skip button for the story at the beginning
- Magic enemies and magic damages are now blue
- Battles should be tougher
- New building and crafting icons colors
- You can now clic outside the building/crafting window to close it
- Fixed some saving / reset issues
- Fixed the title animation
